Omni-Cultural TV Festival’s mission is to connect independent producers through networking activities, screenings and panels.
“The festival will unite and celebrate various cultures, ethnicities, religions and gender identities, while also providing a forum for entertainment professionals to sell content to legitimate buyers,” says Kiki Melendez, award-winning actress and producer and festival founder.
Event co-founder Sarkis Semeriyan of JEAR Entertainment adds, “Our goal is to support new talent from all cultures and address their clear need for higher visibility in the entertainment industry.”

An independent blue-ribbon panel of industry professionals including show runners, buyers, distributors and established actors will select screening participants and determine best-in-class offerings for recognition.
Organizers Melendez and JEAR Entertainment previously hosted the Latin Hollywood Films Upfronts in New York and Los Angeles, attracting more than 1,200 industry professionals to their events. These gatherings received critical acclaim and in less than a year led to the launch of 13 episodes of the talk-show, “Kiki Mobile” on national television.
Hispanicize LA is a three-day networking event that runs from Oct. 11-13 as part of Hispanic Heritage Month activities across the U.S.
